Is it nice, when you walk down the English streets and watch storefornts of typical English bars and see signs like: "Bigos, only here!"? I'd like to open a fridge someday and see in it typical Polish food, go to England and eat English meals, whereas in France enjoy eating snails and frog legs, instead of American fast foods.
One sunny day, a bowl of pasta with bolognese sauce I've eaten thousands of times throughout my life, stayed in my memory quite positively. While managing Sandecja, I needed a striker really badly. I searched through different squads, I crossed almost whole football globe, until I ran into one of the least pleasant, stored in my memory, states, associated with football - it was Azerbaijan. After reviewing one of the clubs' squad, large noodle strand flew on my monitor. I have found Polish name. "A Pole, here? Impossible!" - I shouted, removing dinner leftovers from my display. "Impossible is nothing" - replied tall, thin, curly owner of a mole on his left cheek, simply Tomuś. Quickly I brought him to our country, so he could feast his eyes again with the beauty of Polish highways, clean rivers and homes of glass. Stolpa is a good investment.
Tomasz is a striker. Like a good striker should, he knows something about air duels. It's hard to believe when you're looking at his attributes, but this boy deals very well with strong, black - and not only - defenders. He's not a speed demon, he's far away from Rooney. He's more like Jan Koller and although he lacks few centimeters, when you compare him with Czech skyscraper, in Polish conditions he plays great as a target striker. Stolpa is determined and works pretty good with his partners. He's well prepared physically and whats more - deadly effective. As for his weaknesses, which he undoubtly has, set pieces are among them. Don't order him to train them - it's useless, nobody wants to search for balls in the woods. Stolpa isn't type of aggressive player, which can be either an advantage or disadvantage. He's not threatened by cards, which he practically doesn't get during the season, as well as
tackling over the ball with defenders, because he prefers letting go than risking an injury. Tomek is like a pine marten. Fox in the box. A woodpecker, than no one sees or hears, until the moment, when beak meets the tree's bark. He's ideal for weaker teams, which he'll gladly join, getting out of unpleasent Azerbaijan. Will he be suited for better teams? Hard to tell. Many Polish Ekstraklasa sides, interested in buying him, tell something aiut his value.
