Stelvio Cruz was born on the 4th of February 1989 (some websites claim he's 11 days older) in the capital of Angola, Luanda. However, he's trained football in Portugal ever since and he wants to play for the national team of this country. He's close to the national U-19, so a call-up to the senior team is just a matter of time.
In the 2000/01 season, a little and shy boy signed for the Braga junior team. As the coach noticed, that the boy was lonely, he decided to become friends with him. After some time, he wanted to (ab)use him in an extraordinary way although Cruz didn't let him do that and ran to the police as quick as he only could. The manager was fired, but a lot of people say that he has been seen in the Bieszczady Mountains recently. Now, let's come back to Stelvio. He's pretty depressed now. He wanted to end his career, even though he hasn't even begun it yet. He remembered that it's too late to start learning in the primary school and he came back to training. He's trained very consistently, come rain or shine. Nowadays, he's self-confident both on the pitch and in his private life. Surely, his skills help him a lot. The Sporting's player is good at heading, tackling and teamwork. He's determined, brave, aggressive and always concentrated. There's no point in writing about his physical attributes – they're just high. What's interesting, it is said that the Angolan with the Portuguese passport is jovial. This would explain his lack of commitment to some of the duties. Well, it seems that it's possible to be an amazing playmaker with a loose approach to life. Maybe the reason of such behaviour is caused by his difficult childhood. I don't know and I guess I'll never want to.
Stelvio costs 1,5 million euros. That's a pity. I don't suppose he would sign for Polish clubs. Anyway, he's worth trying.
