Ryan McGowan was born on the 15th of August 1989 in Adelaide. When he was a child, his parents moved to Scotland. There, he laid his first steps on the pitch. He was quickly spotted by Hearts' scouts. That's where he's learning and growing up. Although he loves Scotland, he decided to represent his homeland Australia. Apparently, he was in U-21 squad, from which it's just a small step to A squad of the "Kangaroos".
Ryan can play as a central defender (I recommend that) or a central midfielder. He uses only his right foot. He has great heading, marking and tackling. In a short matter of time he gets to the national team's A squad. I have to admit he is doing well there. You won't have to spend much on McGowan. But his usefulness is priceless. The Australian is valued at 95k, but you will need twice as much to buy him... Young player wouldn't despise playing for the top Polish clubs. Wisła, Legia or Lech should sign him easily.
