Renato Eduardo de Oliveira Ribeiro – because that's his full name, was born on the 28th of April 1985 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. When he was a little boy, his dad noticed that his son is interested in round and leather things. The anxious parent decided to go to a training of Atletico Mineiro amateur team with his son. His good performance was immediately noticed by the coaches. As the time went by, even more fans came to see the Atletico Mineiro junior team only to watch Renato play. Later, the youngster got his first call-up to the Brazil U-20 team. Even though he really loved his club, he's been loaned out frequently. He's played for Corinthians and Vasco da Gama for some time. However, it turned out that the scouts from Israel, actually Maccabi Haifa's, had been the smartest. They quickly noticed his skills and decided to sign the Brazilian, just to sell him later on. Renato's adventure with the Israeli football was not really successful – he didn't play a lot, got bored and lost the whole motivation for training the sport. The Maccabi Haifa campaigners knew that buying him was a mistake and terminated the contract with him. Renato was delighted. Now he's a free player. That's where your task starts.
