While I was looking for a promising and young midfielder, I was exploring the squads of the teams from the UK. Eventually, I looked to the League One. Then, I saw the Leeds United club, and then I looked into their U-19 team. Ok, enough of this bullshit. Time for facts – Fabian Delph was born on the 21st of November 1989 in Bradford. He’s 173 centimeters tall and weighs 70 kilos. He’s started his career at Bradford City. Then, in 2001, he moved to Leeds. Later he went to the Tong Secondary School, which he’d left back in 2006, to sign a two-year-contract with The Peacocks.
In March 2008, he’s started his international career by playing in the U-19 England team. After a series of good appearances, he became a captain of the Leeds Reserves team. In the last game of the 06/07 season, he played against Derby – this game was his league debut. He signed a professional contract on the 11th of January 2008. In the 07/08 season, he played twice in the league, coming off the bench.
On the 5th of September 2008, he signed a new, four-year-contract and scored his first goal in his senior career. Thanks to his good appearances, he was noticed by the scouts of Arsenal and Newcastle. It surely means that he’s a talented player.
