Charles Devineau was born on the 2nd of August 1979 in Cholet. He's probably a home-grown of Stade Olympique Choletais, but data put on the Internet clearly say it's FC Nantes. In spite of playing 3 times for France U-21 team, he hasn't made a great career. Besides the clubs I mentioned, he also played for Stade Lavallois and AS Chataigneraie Football. Well, boy is typical, local star.
I have a terrible desire for a handful of admirations. I don't anticipate ecstasy as big, as when I was describing Pablo Islas, but I let myself drift just a little bit. I run onto Charles while looking for a substitute for my first-squad left midfielder Arnaud Ribas. Unluckly he got serious injury and I desperately needed someone, who will replace him well. I couldn't choose better. Devineau turned out as one of my best transfers in Football Manager 2009. Boy fought a place in first squad immidiately and probably won't give it away. Things the Frenchman does on left wing are simply magic. There isn't a game he wouldn't score an assist. He's runs send opponents in panic. I haven't seen something like that even in Total War game series. Charles is fast, intelligent, passes perfectly, as well as crosses and shoots from distance. Even his corner kicks are great. Despite that - his attributes are not generated randomly - success. That kind of player is a treasure. He's only disadvantage is his age. Similarly to Pablo Islas, he should play 2-3 years on the high level (as for the lowest English leagues standards). During this time he can considerably help out team in promotion to higher playing levels.
I haven't spent a single penny for signing the Frenchman. Without a blink in the eye he signed a contract with my King's Lynn. I recommend him whole-heartedly. You'll be pleased for sure. I beg you, don't try to aquire him to clubs like Manchester United.
