According to some of the opinions on the internet Polonia Warszawa is one of most 'overdone' teams in FM 2008. I don't know what to think about it myself. Without any doubt there are several talented players in this club, but are they overdone? You must judge it yourself.
To make your decision easier I decided to put three players from that team here. First one is Michał Siwik. Forgive me, but now I will flood you with some banal remarks. Siwik is a young, talented and versatile player. However he's much better midfielder than striker. Of course he lacks experience, but he makes unbelievable pressure on opponents in attack. He has great passing and crossing. From time to time he shoots on the opponent's goal quite effectively. Actually I wasn't expecting that from him. His attributes do not look stunning. Only physical ones are up to scratch.. The thing is that physical attributes often have a huge impact on player's performances. It is enough to have a player like that with 2-3 key attributes and we have a guy who is worth investing your cash in. It's nothing new, but it is worth keeping in mind. Siwik possesses exactly what is demanded from a good winger. Don't use him as a striker. I try to use him systematically in more important matches. I do it slowly without unneeded hurry. It's important for me not to hurry with things and to be patient. I guess that Siwik has the same life ideology, because from match to match, he is getting better and better. He isn't complaining but works quietly and effectively.
His price is Euro 200,000. I love those prices. Does anyone use them? Of course this is some kind of guarantee for clubs, but usually they are likely to sell players below that price. You should have no problems in buying him. I am curious if he would play for clubs from Conference. It's surely worth checking.
