Today I'll take you on trip to a country of great football legends. Yes my friends, I mean Argentina. I guess everybody knows Diego Maradona, Mario Kempes, Daniel Passarella, Gabriel Batistuta, Leo Messi or Sergio Aguero. Now, I'd like to present a future key player for that team. There he is, Jesus Alberto Datolo. He was born on the 19th of May 1984 in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, Ezeiza Partido (called also Spegazzin). He's a Canuelas' FC home-grown, who are currently playing in the Argentinean Fourth Division. In 2002, he moved to Banfield. There, in his first season, he played in 12 games, scoring ones. In the 05/06 season, he was a key attacking player for Banfield – scored 7 goals in 27 matches. In 2006, he signed for Boca Juniors for a fee of 775K euros. There, he managed to appear in 27 games, scoring 1 goal. He is being touted as a rising star of Argentine football.
I noticed Datolo while managing Boca Juniors. I liked his pace, agility, technique and dribbling – the things I mostly admire in good footballers. In the off-season, he performed really brilliantly. He passed the ball, shot it and did some extraordinary things. Of course during the regular season, some European clubs, like Monaco or Levante, became interested in him. Jesus’ big advantage is his versatility. He could be easily employed as a winger, as well as in the centre. His CA and PA also are on high levels.
At the beginning of the game the Argentine is worth 700K euros. It's hard to say if he would come to you for less. I don't think he'll sign for any Polish club. He'll surely fit best into the mid-table teams from the strongest European leagues.
