James McCarthy was born on 12th of November 1990 in Glasgow (according to FM it was Bellshill). The young Scott with an Irish passport is a future star of the European football. The greatest teams from Europe, including Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool, have been fighting for that player for a while now.
James made a debut for Hamilton Academical on the 30th of September 2006, during a game against Queen of the South. He is the youngest scorer in the history of Hamilton. He scored his first goal in the Scottish Cup (against Livingston). So far he has played 58 games for his team, scoring 7 times. Even though he was born in Scotland, he decided to play for the national team of Ireland. He has not managed to debut on the senior team yet, but he's already played for the U-17, U-18 and U-19 teams.
McCarthy is a fan of Artur Boruc from Celtic Glasgow, but probably is never going to play for them, because of his decision to play for Ireland instead of Scotland. Attributes of that young player can impress even at the start of the game. Fantastic technique added to the creativity and great determination is a real dangerous mix. The Irish Scott improves very fast. I'd recommend to transfer him to your team at the beginning of the game, when he's still quite cheap. Later it might be too late and I'm sure you'd rather avoid that.
