Andrea Barzagli is a great defender, however I – as every manager of a weaker team – am not looking for the great ones, but for such, that would become a valuable signing. I've recently found a bit of a poorer version of the Italian in Bulgaria, in Naftex. Deyan Moldovanov – a young, promising centre-back. He was born on the 2nd of April 1985 in Burgas. He's a homegrown of the local „Oilers”. He loves his club, but he's also played at Pomorie for a short time.
Deyan plays best as a centre-back, but he could also perform as a left-back. What's interesting, even though he's got a negative PA, he doesn't possess the illness hated by many virtual managers – random attributes. Deyan's heading, marking, stamina and tackling are good. In addition, he's strong and hard-working. After some solid training, he may be a leading English Conference defender.
The Bulgarian is not an expensive player. You should sign him for less than 10K pounds. Unfortunately, he lacks in skill to play in the top leagues. But still, I highly recommend him.
