Alice wasn’t a smart girl. Her imagination was supported by unknown mushrooms and a yeast cake. A while ago she went through the mirror, chased a rabbit, danced in the night club and even tried weightlifting. She also had a romance with a clock and with some elegant wardrobe from Gdańsk. Year after year she’s been falling into deeper and deeper apathy. She spent days by laying in the bed and eating her favourite waffles with smoked bacon. From time to time she smoked a calumet with a man in latex and drank a bottle of birch water. After one of those sessions she landed on the Polonia Warsaw side-pitch. Nobody knows, how she got there, but she wasn’t a sensational discovery. There were many strange creatures in the Polonia side-pitch's short history. Even Benji Imeh was there once. Laying under a tree Alice was looking at a few of the running boys. Despite her life fatigue, her heart which was beating weaker and weaker, and her poor vision, she noticed a player with stretched up shorts. However, her sight was still hooked at the player with an unidentified number on a shirt. It was Daniel Gołębiewski, a young, talented and smart boy. He was well-built too. Strength, agility, muscles - all of those were his strong sides. Alice was impressed with his grace with which he played. He was like a well-bred stallion at the equestrian competition in Pszczela Wola. He was running all over the pitch, from defence to the front line. He could play at any position. Alice knew a bit about that – one of her imaginary lovers was a sport commentator. Young Polonia footballer was like a young God in the eyes of that young and confused girl. His price counted in Euros wasn’t shockingly high. She will be able to buy him after a sale of some of her valuable jewelery. A boy like Daniel is a real treasure for every young lady and not only. Alice had decided to go for him, and so far she has not regretted.
