It is a common fact that hockey is the Slovakian national sports discipline. These are hockey players, who are idols of young female teens. Football is, at most, ranked second. There is this one player, however, who has big chances to overshadow with his fame all hockey players – Jakub Sylvestr! He was born on February 2nd, 1989, in Banska Bystrzyca. He quickly moved to Bratislava, where he began his football career in the Slovan club. As the majority of Jakub’s attributes are random, I will move on to my personal recommendations.
I got Jakub to Toulouse FC in the mid-season of my first year as a team’s coach. He was not able to make the first line-up, but he had to compete with Johan Elmander and Hamdi Salihi. However, I let him play regularly in last minutes of almost every match. In this way, the Slovakian scored 11 goals, which is a pretty impressive achievement for such a young player. I paid 30,000 euro for him, but I am sure you can get him for less. The equivalent for Jakub’s training is 210,000 euro.
