Łódź is an interesting city – old factories, tenement houses, and two historical football teams. Although both Widzew Łódź and ŁKS Łódź play mediocre football, they still deliver a lot of talented players. One of them is Adrian Świątek.
I ran into him by accident. I drove to ŁKS’ stadium to burn… see it, when I came up against him. Instead of throwing Molotov’s cocktails (fans of both clubs hate each other), we decided to sit and drink them. Soon, we decided to stay in touch. Later, ŁKS did not make any greater problems with buying Świątek, and I got him for 120,000 euro to Blyth Spartans. Big as the sum seems to be, it is really peanuts for such a good player.
Adrian Świątek does not have any drawbacks, basically. He is physically and mentally strong, his technique is good as well. When I got him in my third year of team management, he looked great – almost all his attributes exceeded 10. In addition, Świątek develops quickly. In the time of few years he becomes one of the best Polish strikers.
I recommend Adrian especially to users, who manage weak or average teams. You should be satisfied with him. Lovers of playing better teams could look at him after a few seasons. Although Adrian can be bought at the beginning almost for nothing, his value constantly increases, finally reaching the amount of a couple hundreds thousands euro.
