Being a virtual father in the game is fairly simple. Among favorite people of son exists his father’s name and... well, that’s it (although sometimes the situation becomes more complex – ex. Riz, one of the creators of Football Manager, decided to answer the question of how often this happens – how big is the chance to generate a descendant of an existing player or staff member?

Riz: Referring to this question very seriously and honestly I have to say that this is a very rare situation in the game. Chance to generate someone’s son in the Football Manager is like 1 to 10 000.

 

Well, for one player that is like nothing, but when we look at the number of players the game has to generate every year – it gets more impressive. What's more – we can get our own virtual son! If amongst new juniors there is a player who has your surname, nationality and has you in the favorites – congratulations, that is your virtual son!
