Coaches of national teams look for new players in squads of other national teams
The regulations are rigorous – a footballer who's played in a senior national team of one country, can't play in another one. However, Football Manager lets down again – coaches are often interested in players who already play for other nations.

If Lukas Podolski had the opportunity to play in the Polish team, would he use it? He'd surely consider it, if it wasn't for the FIFA regulations, which don't allow to change national teams. Football Manager doesn't allow for it either, but there's one problem. Coaches of national teams observe footballers, who cant't play for them. This issue doesn't affect the gameplay, but definitely affects its realism. For instance, while playing Zaglebie Lubin, you can get an information that Leo Beenhakker, the manager of Poland's team, has decided to observe your match to see Ilijan Micanski, who has already been capped eight times for Bulgaria, so he is not able to play for Poland. A sight-seeing tour? This case can be included to a group of bugs, which jar a lot during the game. There's just a few days left till February, so we can eagerly await the new patch.
