What is SI working on?

We know the makers are fixing some of the bugs of the previous version

We don't have any official news regarding FM 2011. The SI team is keeping silent, not willing to reveal anything to us. Even the famous "Polish leak" was put under the carpet.

What should we then expect of Football Manager 2011? It is sure that SI is currently working on two topics. One of them is fixing the sideline referee in the 3D mode. At the moment everytime the ball crosses the side of the field, the man in the black points his flag in the wrong direction. One of the SI testers informed on the forum, that the problem is being worked on.

We can also come across another weird bug in FM 2010 - a player playing for his national team often complains about being home sick, but the moment we send him home he gets angry for not playing in the international match. Neil Brock tells us that SI is also trying to fix this situation, but it isn't easy, since the problem appears very rarely.

However, right now we know that in FM 2011 reactions of supporters after lost games won't change, even though our team wasn't favourites for the game and even it reached a surprisingly high stage of the competition (regarding cup games). Right now when our club is defeated in such a match our supporters are highly disappointed, forgetting that we should have never gotten that high. The makers claim that in real life the situation is the same, as the fans are always sad when their team loses.

In the previous years the first official information regarding the newest Football Manager would appear in mid-August. If the tradition is to be continued also this year, then we should expect Sports Interactive to show their cards in a couple of days.
