Marital duties unfulfilled because of FM?
Does FM have anything to do with husbands neglecting their family duties? A certain blog has informed that recent rise in the number of divorces in the UK may have been caused by FM.
When a discussion concerning the topic arose in the SI Forum, I decided to take a closer look at the problem.
While some people see it as a great laugh, others take it quite seriously. Other posts on that blog - one of which mentions a loo roll being stolen from a public toilet – quickly confirmed my suspicions – everything that is written there is just by way of a joke.
The note presents three fictitious opinions of certain housewives, complaining that their husbands have been totally absorbed by the FM addiction. The note also quotes unspecified sources reporting that this phenomenon may be relevant to tens of thousands of couples all over the world every day. Unfortumately, the state of affairs as presented by those ladies is, obviously, hardly credible; alleged culprits are unavailable for comment. You might say that it is a trivial matter, and perhaps it would be – were it not for a fact that it is not the first time this problem is being brought up: on the day of our 6th birthday we published a lengthy manifesto by our Revolution VicePremier's wife, where in poetic terms she describes trials and tribulations of an FM gamer's spouse. Of course, she wasn't too serious, but we are curious if anything has changed since then. Apparently, not really, and DeRaph (the website's viceAdmin) still does the bulk of the work during his long hours outside our office at Graveyard Plaza, at home. Rumour has it that this is due to explicit orders of Speed (our Admin).
