FM creators, as always, promised everything would work well. But it ended up as usual - the game is still not finished and bugged. The two released patches were expected to solve the problems and in some way they really did. After installing them you can play the game without major issues. Yet, there are still some minor bugs that makes it difficult to play FM without getting irritated. The fans have discovered that sometimes anonymous players appeared in their teams and whose salaries were really high.
At first glance, it looks pretty good - you can get players for free, after all. Yet, the problem is that those footballers are completely useless, their abilities are really bad. Moreover, their enormously high salaries become a big part of your budget and sometimes can put your club into debt. This bug was confirmed by many Football Manager fans and because SI now have admitted there is such a problem, we can expect a new patch soon . This thesis is confirmed by the fact that SI announced a new recruitment of patch beta-testers. By becoming one, you can have an influence of further development of the game.
SI staff are doing their best to make the game perfect but FM fans are very alert to any new bugs. New edition of Football Manager is no different, the two patches still haven't fixed all the bugs and the fans aren't fully satisfied with the gameplay. Yet, all we can do is to wait, install 9.3.0 patch in the hope that it will make Football Manager 2009 perfect.
