In FM, you will lose a match that you actually won
Applying the new patch fixes all the bugs and issues reported by users. However, the installation of the new patch brings new problems. One of them is displaying wrong match results.

A highly anticipated patch, which was to fix all the reported problems and game flaws, has been finally released. While the patch fixes all of the issues, it brings new complications to the game. Namely, it causes the game unexpectedly to change the results of matches.
SI Community users are reporting a variety of issues concering a new 3D match engine. According to SI Games, the bugs involving unrealistic players' shadows, players going through a goal net or strange players' behaviour result from low PC specifications or lack of the appropriate software. There are bugs however, that are hardly likely to be connected with the hardware or software issues. For example, users are reporting that there is a bug, which makes the game show... inappropriate result at the end of a match. This has not been confirmed officially yet by Sports Interactive, but it seems to be a serious bug. One of the users reported that he had beaten his rival 2:1 in the European Champions League, but instead of blowing the final whistle, the referee added 30 minutes of play, as the match result read 2:2 after 90 minutes. This bug occurs rarely on singleplayer games, but is seen more often on multiplayer games. Does it all mean that yet another patch is going to be released? We hope to find it out soon.
