SI Games responds to the concerns of players!
A few days ago we have seen the first screenshots of the 3D match presentation. However, UK fans still have concerns, so Sports Interactive answers their questions.

It turns out that in Football Manager 2009 each player will have his own original look! According to SI programmers’ assurances you can distinguish players on the basis of skin color, hair and, what’s more, it will be possible to evaluate their height and weight. Still, you have to realize that with 350 thousands of footballers it will be easy to repeat the same type of looks. Moreover we will be able to read the numbers and names on players’ T-shirts, although it will be very difficult due to the small subtitles.
Another case is the one regarding the ball heading. In the 2D it is quite clear - we cannot see who wins the duel. Now it will be changed. One of the SI community members gave us the example: "You say that jumping determines the maximum height of jump, therefore I am going to use an extreme example: who will win – the guy who has 1,68m and has jumping attribute at 17 or the one having that attribute at 16 and having 2,04m?". The answer was quite surprising, because in that case the attributes decide about the outcome (!). The SI worker explains that it is very difficult change it.
Another aspect which raises doubts among the players is the stadium. Will it be thoroughly mapped with changes of capacity? Will the image change? Will we be able to see the fans? This have not been determined yet, but most likely we will not be able to clearly determine whether we are playing at San Siro or Santiago Bernabeu.
Unfortunately, developers do not foresee us being able to watch the technical tricks performed by our players - however, they do not deny that this option will appear in the next FM versions.
As you can see, when the excitement starts to go away the doubts are being born and in this case there are many of them. Maybe too many?
