There is a possibility that SI will invest in mobility of their products
Can you imagine managing an FM Live team on your mobile or playing FM on your iPhone? This option has not been ruled out yet, however, the technical questions may be the focal point.

Leaving your team to its own in FM Live for a few days is very unlikely to give any success. Of course, everything depends on how the assistant manager will perform, but it's easier to assume that it's far more better to play yourself than to rely on your virtual co-workers. Almost every bad result means lost points or squander the chance of winning a trophy. And that's where one of the users comes with his idea. On the SI forum he suggests that the simplest actions such as confirming a transfer or deciding on learning a new skill can be taken with the help of a mobile phone either with text messages or WAP. The idea was met with quite a positive response from the other users what may indicate a potential growth in sales of FM Live and getting more pleasure from playing for no one would have to part with it for long periods.
There are also ideas of using iPhone for playing the full version of both FM Live and ordinary Football Manager. In this case we would be able to decide on everything in exactly the same way as in the PC version. Almost instantly the users raised the issue of a small screen size of that device and reacted rather sceptically as playing FM relies heavily on loads of text and tiny (both literally and figuratively) details such as tactical instructions. To counter this point the idea of zooming in or magnifying certain elements was raised. As far as adapting to the game for such small a device we shouldn't be worried as SI has loads of experience in that field, let Sony PSP be an example. It's worth mentioning that the iPhone itself meets the basic technical requirements for handling FM in this potential version.
The idea seems to be interesting but also very costly to... the customers. The prices of accessing the Internet from a mobile are still very high. That's why this service will be mainly aimed at Western Europe. The attitude of Sports Interactive towards introducing such a novelty is of a great importance – they haven't dismissed the idea yet. Probably they're currently analysing the possibility of undertaking such an enterprise and the possible profitability of the project. Should there be more news on that matter we'll get you informed.
