This scenario is probably well-known to experienced players. Starting the game with a low profile team – usually with low capacity stadium – and leading it to the top one has to take into account the fact that rather sooner or later there won't be any more seats to accommodate all the interested. That's the sing the time has come to expand the stadium and most often there are no problems with that – the board can make the right decision just in time. The problems begin when our stadium cannot be expanded further and the fans still pack it up on every occasion. That's when building a new stadium becomes the only reasonable solution.

And that's no easy road. Before the board decide on that a number of virtual years may pass. And that's regardless of the player, who can only win trophies and gather money to hasten the decision. The problem was raised on Sports Interactive forums where it was answered by Risto Remes, one of the programmers. He admitted that on the decision of building a new stadium have not only club's finances and average attendance but also a random factor which can have too much of importance currently – the makers are to look into it while working on a new version where one can expect more information about the possibility and plans of building a new stadium so the player would know what the chances of that happening are. This can be realized by a number of ways but the easiest would be to use media which even in reality are capable of getting to know whether a team is considering moving to a new stadium in the immediate future.

Sometimes it's worth waiting for a new stadium a little longer. It gives you the chance of being more successful what, in turn, can lead to a very rewarding picture.
