Football Manager will save the British football?

What about trying your managerial skills in a real team?
Football managers are one of the most popular games in the Great Britain. In the last Chart Track rank the SI creation was still in the first twenty, even still on the podium - over four months after the release!

How is that relevant to real football? According to crashbang from SoccerLends.com it significantly is. Being a manager in Football Manager is quite different from working in a real club. Looking through player attributes isn't the same as watching trainings and reaching conclusions from them. And for sure sitting in front of a computer can't be compared to an everyday, slow work at a club.
A few years ago we've informed you about Everton using FM database for looking for players, or we mentioned John Boileau who's sent his application for Middlesbrough's coach position, in which he's given his achievements in the favourite game. The second one was especially considered as a joke, but should it really? The numbers speak for themselves - for one football manager in the Great Britain there are 812 players. It's the same as if in an average high school there was only one teacher. It's even worse if we consider the proportion of managers with the FIFA Pro license to the number of footballers - 19,565 , which is a number of all the players playing in one league! For comparison, in Spain that proportion is only 1:190.
Hundreds of thousands of players who become virtual managers have one common true passion - football. It is their duty to take the future into their hands and fill the void of a small number of coaches. Maybe they should try their chances with a real team? Not because they've managed to get some small team from Blue Square Bet North to winning Champions League, but only because they love football. After years of sitting in front of a computer they have the necessary basic knowledge, the rest they will run during a couple of courses. It's time to reach the stars!
