We’ll play new FM before christmas
Long silence about the release of new Football Manager concerned some players – but, as it turned out, absolutely unnecessarily. FM 2012 was officially announced.

We didn’t learn about the official release date – just like last year, Sports Interactive mentions „before christmas”. Almost 800 changes and over 50 playable leagues will again make Football Manager the most realistic football game. But what are the major changes in it?
The biggest change is the possibility to add and delete playable leagues during the play, as often as we want to! We will be able to manage clubs from every league since the start of new season, without being limited to the setup we chose at the beginning.
Transfers and contracts – we’ll have changes in transfer system, including loyalty bonuses and improvements in amateur and junior contracts as well as better transfer centre, which should help controlling our spendings.
Scouting – new scouting reports with squad and tactics analysis along with other improvements are implemented to help us prepare even better for an important game.
Better match view in 3D – new animations and supporters, improved weather system, more stadiums and two new cameras that can be set in all angles – that’s what SI prepared for us in this category.
Conversation changes – now we can choose one of six available tones of our voice. We can say our comments calmly or like Sir Alex Ferguson during his famous ‘hairdryer’!.
Intelligent interface – we will be able to adjust the layout as we like to. Because of that – the higher our resolution is, the more information would fit on our screen. New interface has additional filtres, adjustable columns, new tactical screen and many more screens.
New tutorial – FM 2012 is supposed to help beginners find themselves in the game world, offering advice useful even for experienced players.
There will be improvements in other elements, such as press conferences, youth teams, newgens, community portals options, managing a national team and many, many more – all these things will be presented in Football Manager blogs during next months.
Sports Interactive published two movies – first presents a possibility of managing the interface and second show match view in 3D.
Because of that, an official FM 2012 website had started and we can find first gameplay screens there!
