This is why FM Live producers have signed a deal with KTH Corporation, group which is going to be responsible for the game in the release for South Korea – game itself will be called differently Football Manager Online. To standarize there will be a new group of programmers based inSeoul. However it doesn't mean these people will not cooperate with team in London. Designed persons will travell between these 2 cities and report on progress.
Miles Jacobson said that Korean version of the game is planned to be released by end of 2011. Conquering whole continent is still in plans for the future. In the meantime, marketing specialists will try to understand specification of asian market, will work on the right server technology and will also focus on technological improvement of the FM.
What does it mean for us? Asian programmers are known for great visual effects. So it seems improving3D in the game will be quite a challenge for them. If they manage to succeed, not only FM Live would benefit, probably also… FM 2012. We strongly hope that cooperation with Koreans will bring us many advantages and we won't have to complain on the game at all. Especially on the visualisation.
