It appears there is something of a mystery surrounding the release of a patch, as it can be downloaded by Steam users only and the update is done automatically. So far, no official statement from SI on the patch itself has been made, but the FM fans are already discussing the bugs it may have corrected (one user has noticed that a new option is available when interacting with an unhappy player).

It seems strange that the patch is available for Steam users only, but the situation may just confirm what Miles Jacobson stated earlier - that the users the Steam platform will be privileged in some cases and will get some addons. Should we treat the patch as one of these?
