Football Manager 2008 is an example that you can go even further with the features that were perfect already in the previous game version. Sports Interactive made the best of their experience by introducing a number of changes: from an updated interface (especially the fixtures and notebook screens), through changes in graphics, including modelled players' faces, to other important changes.
